I’ve been crafting little fantasy worlds to tumble into since I was young enough to type, often keeping everyone awake until 3 a.m. with the sound of my keyboard. Now I write fantasy books about women who don’t apologize for those of us still learning not to. I’m also a songwriter, poet, lover of folklore, and writer of short fiction. Though I’ve been writing across different mediums for decades, my debut romantasy novel, The Bard and the Bandit, arrives this December.

 

I live in the Midwest with Mr. Bales, Mini Bales, and our own little murder of cats.
